words that haven't been spoken. actions that have and haven't been taken. thoughts that came to mind through inspiration. lessons that were learned after being mistaken. towards writing I hasten. peace be on you ツ
I think I find it funny that the last time I wrote was about giving them a piece of your mind. Letting it out and show that you were not blind. But then you never know in tomorrow what will you find. In a month you can turn blind. By that I don’t mean literally but by this world that you have been racing behind. This heart of yours constantly reminds. But from one thing to another through out the day… you don’t have time?
So you struggle day by day… just few minutes to yourself … just some thoughts… just to make sense of what is really on your mind. Running from one thing to another, keeping yourself together that nine to five grind. You complain to yourself, others around you and they try to be kind. But where is that peace of mind?!
You leave one thing for another, try to fit it all and a thought from the past runs through your mind. Where once you wanted to be busy, you wanted a routine, you got what you wanted? Oh wow? Your God is Most Kind (Surah Al-Hajj). You still have the nerves to sit here and complain that you don’t have time? When you once wanted it all, why are you so blind?
Being grateful for it all is where you will find that peace of mind. What you have been searching for, what your heart to you is trying to remind. Sometimes to get peace of mind you need to give yourself a piece of your own mind. Because truly your God is Most Kind. He is Most Kind.
a mini afternoon break at work and I let my thoughts wander.
Today as I was off to lunch, the Head of all the managers walking in front. I kept a distance by few steps. Just so they can go ahead and It won’t be awkward to walk together instead. He sees me few steps behind. Opens the door for me, smiles and lets me go out first. I am not reflecting on this because I was happy or impressed. Or that I want to praise him and make him look the best. It just makes me think of humbleness. A great man always wants to look little in others eyes. An action done with a good intention is acceptable in Allah’s eyes. The ones that hide their good deeds are the wise. The unwise are the ones who think because of these worldly things compared to others they are high. Reflect on yourself and give eachother good advise (hadith). Because we are all the same in front of that God who loves to give and is shy (hadith). Question yourself today are you humble in your own eyes? Or are you just wearing a disguise ?
today’s breakfast at work be an inspiration to reflect and be thankful
Give out of what we have provided for you (Surah Al-Munafiqun). We eat and drink sometimes forgetting who the thanks is due to. There are people out there who wish they had something to eat too. But here we are living our lives and this lifestyle we are so used to. Being humble is when you feel the pain the other feels and you realize their struggles and what they are going through. It is when you acknowledge the blessings God provided for you. It is not for you to go out there and show off to others making them questions “why didn’t I get the same too?” Making them feel unsatisfied with life and having them envy you. He is above all and He sees what you do. you see those people who don’t have what you do. Yet you are ungrateful and He still provides for you. Take a minute to smile and say Thank You!
